0.1 Time on weekdays, weekends and holidays
Applicable hours: All times are calculated in Vietnam time (UTC+7), regardless of the time zone where the guest makes the reservation. A calendar day is a day according to the Gregorian calendar; Lunar day is the day according to the lunar calendar used in Vietnam.
One day and end of day: A calendar day starts at 00:00 and ends at 23:59:59. The phrase “until 23:59” in the text is understood to include the entire minute 23:59; The time 00:00 of the next day does not belong to the previous day.
Weekend: From 00:00 Friday to 23:59 Sunday every week, according to Dazi's business convention. This convention is not a regulation on weekly rest days for employees.
Holidays prescribed by the State: Public holidays and New Year holidays according to Article 112 of the current Labor Code: January 1 of the solar calendar; Lunar New Year holidays according to the legally determined calendar each year; April 30; May 1; September 2 and the day immediately preceding or following the applicable calendar; March 10th of the lunar calendar. Do not automatically include any anniversaries or cultural events.
Compensatory and exchange holidays: Compensation, exchange or extended holidays do not automatically become applicable holidays for guests making reservations. If Dazi applies special conditions for that date, the list of dates must be published before payment and stated in the booking confirmation.
New Year according to Dazi policy: From 00:00 on December 29 of the previous year to 23:59 on January 2 of the following year, including December 29, December 30, December 31, January 1 and January 2. This is an extended Tet period prescribed by Dazi, which does not mean that this entire period is a public holiday according to the State.
Lunar New Year according to Dazi policy: From 00:00 on December 25 (the 12th lunar month) of the previous year until 23:59 on the 5th of January (the 1st lunar month) of the following year. If December has 29 days, the applicable year ends on the 29th day; do not create extra days 30 does not exist. Dazi announces the corresponding calendar date for each year before customers make payment.
Special day: A day on the weekend, holiday and around Tet Dazi mentioned above, or an additional day announced and approved by the customer in advance of payment. A day that overlaps multiple groups is only counted once; Grouping does not automatically incur an unpublished surcharge.
Regular day: A day that does not belong to the special day group applicable to the reservation.
Which date is the night of the stay: For nightly bookings, each night is associated with the start date of that night listed in the confirmation. For example, a Thursday night check out Friday morning does not automatically become a weekend night; Sunday night returns Monday morning as weekend night. Hourly plans are determined by the confirmed start time; If other conditions apply, they must be announced in advance of payment.
Orders include both regular and special dates: The booking confirmation must clearly indicate the nights/packages subject to non-change, non-refundable conditions and the range of charges. Failure to infer a special night will cause the entire application to be voided. If applied to the entire order, it must be clearly stated and approved by the customer in advance of payment; If there is no blanket agreement, special conditions apply for special nights/packages, the rest are subject to regular conditions.
0.2 How to calculate cancellation and refund deadline
Working days: Monday to Friday, excluding holidays, Tet and official compensation days applicable to processing units in Vietnam. Friday is still a working day even though Dazi classified it as a weekend when booking. Days around Tet that are not official holidays are still counted if they fall on Monday to Friday.
Check-in time to calculate deadline: Is the time confirmed in the application. For nightly bookings, default is 14:00 unless otherwise confirmed. A guest's expected late arrival does not delay the cancellation/change deadline. When the application has been officially rescheduled, it will be calculated according to the currently effective schedule.
Request receipt time: Is the time the email/message or form is recorded on the official Dazi channel, not the time the employee reads or responds. The request needs enough information to determine the application and the content to be processed; if it is missing, Dazi notifies it additionally, not considering the request as qualified just because a general message was sent.
Refund calculation date: Starts from the next working day after Dazi confirms refund eligibility and receives all necessary information. The 15th and 30th days are counted according to the working day definition above. Dazi did not delay the confirmation to extend the deadline himself.
No changes and no refunds: Change requests within the scope of confirmed conditions will not be accepted and cancellation fees will not be refunded when guests actively cancel or are no-shows. Refunds are not excluded when Dazi does not provide the correct service, duplicate/wrong collection transactions are verified or other cases required by law.
No-show: Guest has not checked in before 00:00 the next day of check-in and has not been confirmed by Dazi to keep the room late. For example, check-in date is October 20, the recording date is 00:00 October 21.
Latest and after an hour: “Latest 12:00” includes exactly 12:00; “after 12:00” is a time greater than 12:00. Exactly 18:00 is subject to a 50% surcharge; After 6:00 p.m., it is 100% when late payment is approved by Dazi.
0.3 Terminology about booking prices and contacts
Reservation form and reservation confirmation: The form contains the facility, guests, room type, number of rooms, time and service price. Confirmation is a text/email/message from Dazi official channel confirming such contents, payment obligations and applicable conditions; Transaction notifications from banks do not replace room confirmation.
Direct booking and OTA: Direct booking is via Dazi website or official channel. OTA is a third-party online booking platform; Transactions via OTA apply to conditions announced at the corresponding booking channel.
Official channel: Website, email, phone number, messaging account or form published by Dazi on the website and/or booking confirmation. Messages to unassigned personal accounts are not automatically requests to Dazi. Telephone requests require a written record or confirmation to verify the content and timing.
Total room price and additional services: Total room price is the price of the entire room and night/package in the confirmed application, including taxes and mandatory fees announced. Additional services include transportation, decoration, catering or bespoke services; Do not include the cancellation fee in the room if there are no specific conditions.
Price at the time of request and difference: Is the price Dazi reports for the correct facility, room type, date and number of guests at the time of request, confirmed in advance by the customer. The difference is the price of the new portion minus the price of the corresponding confirmed portion, with the same basis for calculating taxes/fees, not having to change the price of the old stay yourself.
Room status and room category: Room status is the ability to arrange the category, quantity and time requested by guests, including actual operating capabilities. Room categories are grouped by name, features and amenities as published at the facility; does not automatically guarantee a specific room number or design without confirmation.
Prepayment: The prepayment is deducted from the service fee and processed according to the approved cancellation conditions. Do not consider it a security deposit with another legal mechanism unless there is a clear agreement.
Force majeure: An event that occurs objectively, is unpredictable and cannot be overcome even if necessary measures are applied within the legal capacity. Do not automatically consider any technical errors, lack of rooms or changes in personal plans as force majeure.
Technology and data terminology: Cookies are small data files stored on the browser/device; IP is the address that identifies the network connection; OTP is a one-time authentication code; booking engine is a booking system; PMS is a hotel management system. The terminology of personal data and the processing role are explained in Section 3.
Information that must be completed: Contact address, legal entity, security email, camera retention period and list of unknown tools are kept in [ ]. Do not speculate on figures or legal deadlines; These fields must be filled in according to actual operations before publication.
The above definitions are used consistently throughout the document. The published and accepted special conditions apply to the respective transaction, but do not exclude legal rights.
